Account

Delete account removes your login and personal data from the mapometer server. This cannot be undone, so only use it if you're really sure you'll never need to access your routes again.

My Details: This form allows you to change the email address associated with your account as well as your default subdomain, your username and your preferred date format.

Change password: Use this to change the password you use along with your email address as the direct login for mapometer. Changing your password doesn't effect login via social networks.

Linked accounts: You can link your mapometer account to your accounts from Facebook, Twitter or Google. All three of these can be used as an alternative means of logging-in. Facebook and Twitter can also be used for sharing routes or activities via social media.

Maps

The area shown on the map when you 'save as defaults' will be used as your default map location. You can use the standard map control to select a region or type a place name in the new location box and hit 'go'.

Map settings: Allow you to select default values to be used when you draw or edit routes.

Line settings: Allow you to specify the appearance of the lines used to plot your routes. You can adjust the colour, thickness and opacity of the line. Your changes are previewed on the the line segment show on the map.

User settings: Allow you to specify your default sport, your preferred distance and energy units and your weight (to be used in energy calculations).

Share

The share system has been overhauled in this version of mapometer. Sharing via social media and sharing via email have now been combined.

You can select whether you wish to have new routes and new activities shared by default. Even if you choose not to have them shared automatically, you can still manually share any route or activity whenever you wish.

Rather than setting separate messages to be used for Facebook and Twitter, you now specify a default message to use for sharing routes and one for sharing activities. These defaults will be used when sharing on Twitter, Facebook or email. Even though you set a default, the message actually sent with any share can be edited before sending.
