Search for organized events

Running an event search

  1. Change location: The search will return events than are within the current map bounds. Use the 'change location' control on the map to find a specific location. You can also manually scroll the map and zoom in/out to show the desired search area.
  2. Click the new search button to set the other search criteria.
  3. Select sport: Restrict the search to events of particular sports
  4. Select event type (optional): We've broken down some sport into sub types so you can be more specific in your search. By default all sub type are selected.
  5. Set event date: Set the earliest and latest dates for events to include in the results. If no end date is specified all matching events after the the start date will be included. The start date defaults to today and the end date to 1 year from now.
  6. Click Find Events to retrieve events matching your search criteria.

Viewing results

Events are shown on the map and also listed in the 'matching events' table (under the map).

Clicking on a marker on the map shows a summary of that event, with a link to the event details page. If multiple markers are so close together that they overlap, clicking on them separates the markers so that they can be selected individually.

The matching results table shows a summary of each event with a link to the details page for that event. Clicking the 'paddle' marker in the matching events table will open the info-window for the event on the map - so you can see the location of the event.

Results are shown 20 at a time page-by-page. You can navigate through the pages of matching events using the next and previous buttons.
