Get ready to light up the night at Piedmont University's Mane Glow 5K—an unforgettable glow-in-the-dark experience filled with music, energy, and fun!

Whether you're a competitive runner, casual jogger, or just looking for a unique night out with friends and family, the Mane Glow 5K is designed for everyone. As you make your way across Piedmont University's beautiful campus, you'll run through vibrant glow zones where volunteers shower participants with colorful glow powder under black lights, creating an exciting, neon-filled atmosphere.

The fun doesn't stop there! Along the course, you'll encounter high-energy music stations featuring upbeat playlists to keep you motivated and moving from start to finish. From the countdown at the starting line to the final celebration at the finish, every step is part of an immersive glow experience.

Event Schedule

• 6:00 PM – Check-in and packet pickup opens
• 6:45 PM – Pre-race announcements and warm-up
• 7:00 PM – Mane Glow 5K Begins!

Course Information

The Mane Glow 5K will take participants on a scenic nighttime route throughout Piedmont University's campus. The course includes a variety of terrain, including:

• Asphalt pathways and roads
• Grass sections
• A wooden bridge
• Areas with rocks and/or stairs

Please use caution throughout the course, especially in areas with uneven terrain.

Arrival Information

Participants should arrive at least one hour before the race begins (6:00 PM) to allow enough time for parking, completing check-in, and preparing for the start of the race.

Parking

Free parking is available in:

• Mize Parking Lot
• Commons Parking Lot

Please follow event signage and volunteer directions upon arrival.

Check-In, Waivers & Identification

• All required waivers must be completed before checking in.
• Participants should have a valid photo ID available during check-in if requested.
• Race materials will only be distributed after all registration requirements have been completed.

Don't Forget!

• Wear white or neon-colored clothing to get the full glow effect under the black lights.
• Comfortable running or walking shoes are recommended.
• Glow powder is non-toxic and washable, but participants may wish to avoid wearing clothing they do not want exposed to colored powder.
• This event is open to both runners and walkers. Participants of all fitness levels are encouraged to join.
• Stay after the race for music, photos, and a glowing finish line celebration!
