Description

Celebrate Earth Day with us on the Union Pacific Railroad Trail!

Unused bibs, souvenir t-shirts, and medals will be recycled from previous runs. The 5K starts promptly at 10am, stick around after to cleanup Cornerstone Park and the trail from 11am-noon. All fitness levels are welcome. Enjoy the beautiful spring weather, get some exercise and make a positive impact in our environment!

WHAT TO WEAR

• Sport Your Earth Day Activewear. Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that lets you move easily on the trail or course. Earth-tone colors or your favorite green gear are perfect for celebrating the planet while you run or walk!
• Lace Up Your Walking or Running Shoes. Choose your most comfortable, well-worn tennis shoes or running shoes—ones you trust for a smooth walk or jog. The course is all about enjoying nature, so supportive footwear is key.
• Stay Hydrated. Bring a water bottle to keep hydrated throughout the event.
• Sunscreen is a Must. Don't forget to slather on some sunscreen before you head out to protect your skin from the sun's rays. It's all about fun in the sun, safely!
