USA Triathlon's NCAA program is thriving. With 30 current programs, institutions are finding triathlon is a great additions to their varsity sport's menus. In an effort to support recruitment needs, USAT has established junior high/high school combines around the U.S. Our focus is to expose young women to the sport and help our institutions with recruitment.
No triathlon experience needed.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
If the athlete is under the age of 18, a parent/guardian MUST register the athlete. The parent/guardian information goes under 'YOUR INFORMATION' and then the athletes information is completed under 'Participant #1' information.
9:00am to 9:40am – Boys Town Skip Palrang Memorial Fieldhouse
Athlete check-in to receive number tattoos, swim caps, and do individual head shots. Any last-minute seeding of 1600m times can be done at this time.
9:40 to 9:50am - Overview of the purpose of the Triathlon Combine clinic
Athletes will be brought together by Tiana Cooks, the USAT Combine Coordinator for USA Triathlon. Information provided will include the purpose of time trials, introduction of coaches and those involved with USA Triathlon as well as NCAA Triathlon, and how the event information will be used.
9:52am – Warm up begins for all runners
10:15am - Heat 1 of the 1600m run. (Group A) Each heat will have 6 runners.
10:25am- Heat 2 - 1600m run (Group B)
10:35am - Heat 3 - 1600m run (Group C)
As the run heats are completed, athletes will move to the pool area to change and warm up.
Time allows for an additional heat if needed. The fastest heats will be the last ones.
10:45am – 11:15am - Warm-up time begins for swim preparation as the run heats are completed.
You will be assigned lanes for your heat in the pool. Each heat will have 6 swimmers.
11:20am Heat 1 of 100yds swim (Group A. These are the same athletes from Group A of the run)
11:30am Heat 2 - 100yds swim (Group B)
11:40am Heat 3- 100yds swim (Group C)
After completing the swim, athletes will have time to change before meeting for the closing session.
12:00 -12:20pm – Caryn Kusleika, sports nutrition, USA Triathlon certified coach/Registered Dietician overview on this important topic
12:20 -12:45pm – NCAA overview by USA Triathlon and final Q/A
