Stow Bike for the Woods is a family-friendly bike ride on the roads of Stow and surrounding towns, in lengths ranging from 5 to 64 miles. Most rides are marked on the road and all include cue sheets. The shorter rides tend to be easier and the longer ones more challenging. Proceeds go to the Stow Conservation Trust which helps preserve open space in this beautiful town.

Fees are $20 per adult and $15 per child age 12 and under, maximum $50 per family.

We'll follow pandemic rules for these kinds of events. Please wear a mask at the start and maintain 6-foot distancing.

Please see our website for more information:

Event details and schedule

Event is Sunday morning, August 16th, starting at 9am at the Old Town Hall, 375 Great Road, Stow, MA.  (If you've ridden this event before, the site is about a block west of the prior years' site.)

We're also offering the option of a "virtual event", which means you pay, get the cue sheets and/or maps from us, and do the ride whenever you want.

If you do choose to ride on August 16th at 9am, the site will have bathrooms and clean water. We also hope to have individually packaged food items for you to take with you, but due to the pandemic we can't provide the food awesomeness for which this event is justly famous. :(

Parking is across the road at the Town Building (380 Great Road) and at Center School (405 Great Road).

Go to our website for more info.

Ride could cancel in the event of dangerous weather. If so a cancellation notice will be posted on by 6am on the day of the ride.
