We're baack! Don't miss our Annual Stone Harbor Shiver Polar Plunge! Enjoy St. Paddy's weekend at the beach with family and friends and take a dip in the beautiful and COLD Atlantic Ocean! Proceeds will benefit Family Promise of Cape May County - a charity that supports, counsels and works to place homeless parents and children in permanent homes; and the Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce, so we can continue to hold the Shiver and other great events throughout the year!

Join us for our great Pre-Shiver Party at the Yacht of Stone Harbor, Friday, 3/17, at 6pm. Irish Buffett and cash bar. Auction, 50/50, DJ & more! Everyone is welcome - pay at the door (no reservations.)

Saturday's fun can begin at Fred's "Sips & Dips" beginning at 9am. Come dressed in your best team get ups and please let us know what song you want to perform to at the Shiver Showdown! At 11:30am, we'll all line up on 95th Street & Third Ave and get ready to Parade up 96th Street to the beachfront lot.  Be ready to come up on stage for your introductions and a chance to win prizes! Best Team Name, Best Costumes, Best Performance and more! 

We'll hit the water at approximately 1pm. You're not in there long! Change and head back to Fred's for live music in the parking lot, good food, drink & fun! 

We've got NorEaster Nick emceeing, DJTY spinning your tunes, WhoaPhat Brass Band leading the parade and so much more! And wait 'til you meet this year's Shiver King & Queen! Happy SHhhivver 2023!

Event details and schedule

 Your weekend fun will begin Friday night at The Yacht Club of Stone Harbor. for the Pre-Shiver Party! Your $30 entry fee includes a delicious Irish buffet. Enjoy a cash bar and our fantastic ticketed and live auctions. You can also come pick up your Shiver swag bag that includes your Shiver tee or hoodie, or add a last-minute registration. Friday night's event is "pay at the door." No pre-reservation needed.

Fred's Tavern will host "Kegs & Eggs" Saturday morning, beginning at 10am. At 12pm, the Shiver Parade will lead us to the beach front parking lot at the Women's Civic Club. The fun continues when participants are introduced and entered into the "Best Of" contest for Best Individual Costume, Best Team Name, Best Float, Best Team Performance. Start thinking of your costumes & theme song now - our DJ will play your song! We'll be hitting the water's edge by approx 1:15pm. We just can't wait!

After your dip in the ocean, there will be a post-party at Fred's Tavern, 314 96th St. Gather your friends and family and come Shiver with us!
