Description

Navigate Recovery Gwinnett's 9th Annual 5K Run and Walk for Recovery is a Recovery Month event! Join us for this opportunity to celebrate recovery, raise awareness, and to be a shining example that recovery is possible!

This event is an Atlanta-Journal Constitution Peachtree Road Race Qualifying event.

Welcome to the recovery community and all family members, providers, and recovery allies who play such an important role in recovery!  Join us for this day of fun and collaboration. We are so grateful for your help!

All other proceeds and fundraising efforts will help us continue our mission to serve individuals and families affected by addiction by connecting them to the support they need and removing barriers that prevent them from getting and staying well.

RUNNING ON-SITE: you will be required to enter your estimated finish time when registering, which will provide an appropriate placement and approximate start time for your start of the race. This will enable us to comply with social distancing guidelines for grouping during a transitory event (social distancing does not apply to co-habitating OR persons, family units, roommates residing together). Further details will be provided as we get closer to the event.

VIRTUAL 5K RUN - September 29th

RUNNING VIRTUAL: You will have the opportunity to run on your own September 30th from 12;01am to 11:59pm. To be included in the VIRTUAL RESULTS, participants must submit proof of finish time on race registration website by September 26th. Once all times are approved results will be posted. The cost of the virtual race includes a race Tshirt, custom bib and finishing medal.

T-Shirts included in fee for first 300 registrants. *No childrens sizes available*

Celebration/In Honor of Signage: Celebrate the recovery of someone or honor someone who lost the battle of addiction. This signage will be created for you and placed in a prominant position on the run course. We will need your important dates and a photo of your loved one. This an opportunity to provide peer based services for people who cannot afford them. You can pick up your sign or we will use it year after year. Go to https://bit.ly/3n7ue5h to order your sign.
