The Memorial Day 5K/10K and 15K is coming to Rapid City!
Memorial Day is about remembering the soldiers who died while on Active Duty in the Military. In their honor, we are offering all Active and Retired Military a *Complimentary race (5K, 10K or 15K)" on May 29, 2023. Come join us and pay tribute to those that have served & continue to serve & protect our country!
We start at 8:00 AM in Founders Park with an amazing crowd full of energy. Scenic course, Finisher Medals, awesome race shirts, & Awards for the Top 3 Overalls, Top 3 Masters Overalls, Top 3 Grand Master Overalls, Top 3 Senior Master Overalls, and Top 3 in all the regular 5 year Age Groups.

Awards in the 5K/10K/15K as follows:
All finishers will receive a Finisher Medal for 2023! This will be the 1st of three finisher medals for our Patriotic Series so collect all THREE!
Due to COVID-19, there will be no water stations. This will be a self-supported event so please bring any hydration you may need along the course. Thank you.
All three events will start and finish at Founders Park. All routes are an out and back, with the 10K & 15K doing multiple laps.
All events will have a timed start & finish.
Running is more F-U-N together, even if we're far apart!
Grab your friends, co-workers, neighbors or family and participate as a TEAM. Your TEAM can be local or across the states; virtual participants will have their shirts shipped! Teams of 5 or more receive discounts off their registration, discounts below.
5+: $2.50 off
11+: 3.75 off
21+: $5.00 off
51+: $6.25 off
100+: $7.50 off
You can sleep in a few extra minutes on race morning...just show up with enough time to get in the start coral.
Bib Mail Out**:
For $5.00 you can have your bib mailed straight to your front door. NOTE: bibs will be sent out via USPS. We'll be sending them out periodically, last mailing Monday before Race Week. Please ensure you put in your complete mailing address. We are not be responsible for any returned, lost or misplaced mail-out bibs. Bib Mail-outs are non-refundable.
*Not responsible for lost mail & bibs left at home. **Replacement bibs will be charged on-site for $2.00.
Race Day Pickup:
Check in opens at 7:00 AM on race morning. Be sure to arrive closer to 7:00 AM as the Race will Start promptly at 8:00 AM.
This is one of your first opportunities to qualify for (1) free entry into our 2023 Turkey Trot & also to qualify for our Championship 5K/10K!
All participants will automatically qualify for (1) FREE entry into one of the 2023 Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trots. See event website
Top finishers will also have the opportunity to earn a spot in the Championships held on January 7, 2024. The number of spots available is based on the total registration. See event website
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike
conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds and will be disqualified.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
