Description

BATTLE GROUNDS is an obstacle course race that is designed for every athletic condition in mind with the goal of perpetual improvement no matter where you’re at in your conditioning featuring a 5k or 10k option for 2022! 

 BATTLE GROUNDS is brought to you by Oak Ridge MX, one of the gnarliest motocross tracks in the Midwest. This is our 8TH annual OCR that is guaranteed to keep you coming back for years to come! With a different course year to year it brings new challenges along with over 20 obstacles including mud pits, mud slides, climbs, timber runs, walls, balance beams and many more. This is NOT a flat course. You will encounter some of Iowa's largest hills and valleys! We encourage you to run with a group or with a friend! Either way our friendly staff will be everywhere helping you along the way!

                   11 AM - 5k Junior/Parent 10-15 Years Old                                     accompanied by parent

Aid Stations: There will be water stations everywhere!                                medical staff will be on hand.

Post Party: There will be cold beverages available! Bring a grill and hang out post race for as long as you would like! 

There will be a local DJ spinning beats!

Minimum age is 10 years old

If this event is canceled or postponed for any reason you will be issued a voucher for future event. No Refunds available.

Team: All teams are welcome and encouraged. You're going to need help getting through the feats of strength.

Waivers and ID

• Waivers will be on-site Must sign at registration.

• (UNDER 18)  Must have legal guardian present OR a signed minor release form signed by legal guardian.

•What to bring

• Bring cash for registration, parking, and vendors. 

• DO NOT BRING anything that would be considered a weapon of any kind! That means no guns, knives, darts, spears, cannons, musket riffles, sling shots, b b guns, bow and arrows etc.   

•What to wear

• Short sleeves or Tank tops

• Shorts

• Shoes you don’t mind getting messed up but that are comfortable.

• Gloves are optional
