Mapometer.com is used by runners, cyclists, walkers and sports men and women around the world. Usage of the site is growing rapidly. We have over 56,000 registered users and over 330,000 page impressions per month (source: Google Analytics - April 2010).

Your establishment will appear as an icon to users mapping a route in your area when viewed at zoom level 13 (as shown in the example) or greater. On clicking the icon users can view your contact details, a photo or logo, a description and a live link to your own website. We have 14 different icons available for stores, clubs, gyms focussed in running, cycling, outdoors or general sports.

This provides a highly targeted advertising facility. A runner plotting a route will be able to instantly see there is a shop selling running shoes in his area for example.

You can edit your ad or hide it at any time. You can also monitor how many views and hits you icon has received. You will not be able to place an icon on top of an existing one.
